The hemostatic tourniquet is intended to stop arterial bleeding in the extremities (arms, legs). It is used for severe bleeding from a wound, when external bleeding cannot be stopped with a regular pressure bandage.
Dimensions: length 65cm, width 3.8 cm.
The person applying the tourniquet to the limb must be familiar with the tourniquet's instructions for use.

From July 1, 2023, every first aid kit must have two tourniquets.
