Xenon lighting has a higher light efficiency than traditional halogen lamps. A halogen lamp, using 55 W, generates about 1500 lm, while xenon lamps, depending on the color temperature, generate about 3200 lm, using only 35 W and heat up significantly less. These lamps have a long service life, often comparable to the service life of a car.
