Xenon headlights have a higher light efficiency than traditional halogen bulbs. While a halogen bulb generates 1,500 lumens using 55 watts, a xenon bulb, depending on the color temperature, generates about 3,200 lumens using only 35 watts and heats up significantly less. These bulbs have a lifespan that is comparable to the life of a car.
