Brake fluid tester AMIO-03123

The compact brake fluid tester allows you to quickly and accurately check the water content in the brake fluid, regardless of the car model. Simply immerse the tester electrodes in the fluid reservoir and read the LED indicator lights. The device can test many types of brake fluids: DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5, DOT 5.1.

Initial use:

• To perform a liquid quality test, turn on the device with the button on top, like a pen.
• Remove the lower guard and immerse the tester tip (two pins) into the brake fluid reservoir.

Reading the indicators:

• Green LED: Brake fluid has not detected water.
• Yellow LED: The water content in the system is less than 1%.
• Two yellow LEDs: Water content 2% – within normal limits.
• Red LED: Water content 3% – fluid change recommended, brake system may be up to half as effective!
• Two red LEDs: Water content more than 4% - BRAKE FLUID SHOULD BE CHANGED URGENTLY!

Maintenance:

• Replace the battery if the green LED does not light up after pressing the button.
• Flashing red LED – battery needs to be replaced.
• Rinse the electrodes under running water after each use.
